Dear Dr. David A Case,
Thank you so much for your earlier reply.
Here is the procedure that how I followed for the installation of amber12
[Here I used AmberTools12].
I downloaded AmberTools13 (as you mentioned), then un-tarred the file in
the following directory.
" /Users/narendar/programs/ "
Then, un-tarred the Amber12.tar.bz2 followed by cd to that directory.
next I set environment variable by typing the following command
" export AMBERHOME=/Users/narendar/programs/amber12/ "
After that I typed " ./configure gnu "
in " /Users/narendar/programs/amber12/AmberTools/src " directory. Then it
shows the following error.
*"" Starting with Amber12 (and AmberTools12), you should no longer run*
*configure from this directory. Go up two directories (to $AMBERHOME)*
*and run configure there. "" *
Followed by I typed './configure gnu -noX11' in
"/Users/narendar/programs/amber12/ " directory. But it shows the following
error again.
*"" Checking for updates...*
*Checking for available patches online. This may take a few seconds...*
*Available AmberTools 13 patches:*
*No patches available*
*Available Amber 12 patches:*
*No patches available*
*Error: unknown compiler: gnu*
* Type './configure -help' for options.*
*Configure failed due to the errors above! ""*
[Here AmberTools13 patches are already updated]
If you could help me, I will be very grateful to you.
Thanking you.
