I just checked that the following works for me:
./update_pmemd --update
I'm not sure that putting multiple options on a single command line has ever
been tested.
You can look at the *.rej files that the unsuccessful patch created, to see
what information is there.
If you are not using an NVIDIA Blackwell GPU, then update.3 will not affect
you, so you should be able to continue.
