You should certainly upgrade to AmberTools18. Then all you would have
to worry about is pmemd (since AmberTools18 works fine with the current
Ubuntu18.)
Also, consider upgrading to Amber18. There have been *many*
improvements in the last 6 years. A fee waiver may be available if you
qualify: please consult the web page.
