Dear Amber Developers and Users,
I've been trying to install AmberTools-1.3 in a Cygwin environment. The
configure process appears to go well, but when I try to 'make serial', I
run into the following problem which I haven't encountered before. Here
are the last few lines from the logfile (but the complete logfile is
attached):
...
...
gcc -c -O3 -mtune=generic -msse -mfpmath=sse -DCYGWIN
-DUSE_AMBER_C9XCOMPLEX -DBINTRAJ -o dlange.o dlange.c
gcc -c -O3 -mtune=generic -msse -mfpmath=sse -DCYGWIN
-DUSE_AMBER_C9XCOMPLEX -DBINTRAJ -o dlabad.o dlabad.c
make[1]: vfork: Resource temporarily unavailable
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/local/amber11/src/clapack'
make: *** [serial] Error 2
5 [main] make (4692) C:\Cygwin\bin\make.exe: *** fatal error -
WFSO timed out after longjmp
I would greatly appreciate any thoughts or suggestions.
Thanks,
Bob Hopkins
