Dear Amber Community,
searching through the Amber mail reflectron, I noticed one other inquiry
in the past about parameters for protonated guanine, cytosine. I work in a
mass spectrometry group where we do cross section and fragmentation
measurements of small DNA sequences. We would use the protonated
guanine/cytosine parameters to model DNA ions in the gas phase. Are there
currently efforts to develop these parameters anyone is aware of?
Despite these hurdles, I have great respect for this program - not letting
me proceed without proper parameters - I hope this will never change.
