AMBER: problem with ssh and xleap

Hi, I'm attempting to work on the

http://www.rosswalker.co.uk/tutorials/amber_workshop/Tutorial_one/section2.htm

tutorial remotely through ssh on my win 2000 machine. I'm at the part that
requires starting up xleap. I'm using the Xwinlogon win 32 x-server for my
sessions but it seems to be having trouble with the display. When I type in

$AMBERHOME/exe/xleap -s -f $AMBERHOME/dat/leap/cmd/leaprc.ff99

It spits back
WARNING:Color name "Tan" not defined
WARNING: Cannot convert string to type..etc etc... FontStruct
Segmentation fault
etc etc

(the full message is rather large but consists
mainly of the above type of lines. I couldn't copy it all because the
clipboard functionality failed to start up)

and boots me back to the prompt. Is there some additional tweaking I can do?

Thanks.
