I am using Ubuntu 22. Installation of amber18 has been broken with the
following error: /amber18/lib/libcifparse.a(lex.cifp.o):(.bss+0x8):
multiple definition of `cifpin';
/amber18/lib/libcifparse.a(cifparse.o):(.bss+0x0): first defined here
collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status. I saw a similar problem on the
list, but it concerned amber20 on CentOS 7. I observe the same behavior for
both gcc-11 and gcc-9. Would be grateful for any help...
