Finally had time to look at the test results of the compile, there seems to be an issue:
ld: library not found for -lz.tbd
collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status
This was the cause for ALL the erors reported while running tests both serial and parallell.
I am not enough of a c/fortran programmer to provide much else input here, nor am I on Big Sur, though as the XCode versions are the same, maybe this is related to the observed problem: https://community.intel.com/t5/Intel-Fortran-Compiler/New-macOS-Big-Sur-return-quot-ld-library-not-found-for-lSystem/td-p/1228071
Anyway, solving this should provide a zero error compilation on macOS.
Best regards

Aargh...thanks for the report. There was a glitch on the Amber web site.
Please try again.
