A common cause of this error in previous reports has been a poor
choice of cuda version, eg, a very old cuda, a too new cuda.
But this doesn't seem to be the case.
Have you applied Amber update.6?

Send verbose and verbatim details, including above, the exact cuda version,
./update_amber --show-applied-patches
nvidia-smi
