I'm thinking this is wrong. On our systems, when the intel module is loaded,
I get this behavior:

perceval% echo $CPATH
/opt/sw/packages/intel/17.0.0/compilers_and_libraries/linux/ipp/include:/opt/sw/packages/intel/17.0.0/compilers_and_libraries/linux/mkl/include:/opt/sw/packages/intel/17.0.0/compilers_and_libraries/linux/tbb/include:/opt/sw/packages/intel/17.0.0/compilers_and_libraries/linux/daal/include

There is no conlicting math.h header here, so the gnu compilers are not
broken.
