What did you do? Did you use the --proxy flag and get update_amber to
work through your proxy?
Is it an authenticated proxy (i.e., does it require a password and user
name?) Did you have trouble setting up your user name?
I don't know anybody that has tried using update_amber to connect to the
internet through a proxy, so I would be very curious to see if it
worked.
I think it would be helpful to future people that have the same issues
if you could share the exact commands that you used.
