Are you sure? AmberTools 1.0 is really quite old; I'd recommend getting
the latest (1.5) here:

You probably need the xorg*-devel rpms since the xleap compilation will
require the include headers that are in these rpms. A quick google
suggests that within the SLES 11.1 distribution, this package will
probably be called xorg-x11-libX11-devel.
