I would suggest using MMPBSA.py from AmberTools 1.5, as it's more recent, a
bit more user-friendly (catches more errors, etc.), as it's also more
actively supported on the list

This just a property of a distribution. When there's no variance, the skew
or kurtosis is 0 (the variance is the 2nd moment of a distribution, the skew
is the 3rd moment, and kurtosis is the 4th moment). If a distribution has
no variance, then it clearly has no spread, which means the other moments
must be zero.
