Ah, yes. If you were using "sudo make install" without using "sudo -e",
then the environment is not inherited and the root shell doesn't see
AMBERHOME.
If it makes any difference, I don't see those warnings with gcc44 installed
via MacPorts, and gcc45 doesn't produce faster binaries (I've tested both).
