Dear Dr. Case,
No, but I don't have a reason that this patch should be applied
either. This is because my mac os x 10.4 box was the only platform so
far confirmed to fail on gfortran linking with -lcrt1.o. I was able to
link it both on mac os x 10.5 and 10.6, so Jorgen's situation is
probably different.
As to the reason not touching line 1319, No, I simply overlooked the
line 1319, if we in the end decide to patch it, line 1319 should be
also modified.
