Certainly! Running "make test" just tests the serial code. You might also
want to run "make test.serial.QMMM" if you plan to use QMMM. See the top of
$AMBERHOME/test/Makefile for targets that are available.

If you don't plan to run parallel jobs, there is not point in running the
parallel tests. But if you do plan to run parallel jobs, you should make sure
the test cases work.
