I tried to use sparc but the following message comes
*# ./configure_amber sparc*
*Setting AMBERHOME to /disk3/amber/amber10*
*Setting up Amber configuration file for architecture: sparc*
*Using parallel communications library: none*
*Testing the C compiler:*
*cc -D_FILE_OFFSET_BITS=64 -D_LARGEFILE_SOURCE -DSYSV -o testp testp.c*
*/usr/ucb/cc: language optional software package not installed*
*./configure_amber: ./testp: not found*
*Unable to compile a C program using cc -D_FILE_OFFSET_BITS=64
-D_LARGEFILE_SOURCE -DSYSV*
*Please check your compiler settings or configure flags.*
What is this "*language optional software package not installed"?* how it
can be dealt with?
I am new to this kind of work, Also I dont understand which flags are
necessary for the installation and how they work
Can anyone give me the information where I can find detailed description of
all the procedure and its utility.
