Are you sure you can compile any programs with this compiler? Generally, when
errors occur in compiling "new2oldparm" (which is a very simple program), the
problem has more to do with compiler installation than with the Amber code.
The "can't locate file for: -lcrt1.o" looks like a generic problem that
probably has nothing to do with Amber.
