Dear All,

I was trying to compile Amber8 on my Mac OS X system by
using absoft 7.0 compiler for Mac OS X. By adding -N11
option to config.h, I fixed the first error output 'too
large for field width of 16 bits'. But it turns out to be
another error:

Starting installation of Amber8 (serial) at Thu Apr 13
16:41:55 CDT 2006.
mkdir ../exe
mkdir: ../exe: File exists
make: [serial] Error 1 (ignored)
cd lib; make install
cpp -traditional -P -I/Users/Shared/amber8/src/include
new2oldparm.f > _new2oldparm.f
f90 -N11 -c -O1 -o new2oldparm.o _new2oldparm.f
cpp -traditional -P -I/Users/Shared/amber8/src/include
nxtsec.f > _nxtsec.f
f90 -N11 -c -O1 -o nxtsec.o _nxtsec.f
f90 -o new2oldparm new2oldparm.o nxtsec.o
/usr/bin/ld: can't locate file for: -lcrt1.o
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status

Any idea about how to solve this problem? I've tried to
search the amber mail archive and google but failed. Any
advice will be helpful. Thanks!

Shawn Yu
