I agree with Dr. Isaacs. While I use a UNIX-based platform for email and
other work, there are many on this list who are on Window-based platforms
for their email. And while I do not -- as a general rule -- open up files
with unknown attachments, I was surprised by the sheer number of messages
that I received from the AMBER reflector containing the problem files.
[That's why I was wondering if the AMBER reflector had suddenly changed
the unwritten rules about postings, and that's why I felt that I had to
ask about these messages.]
Special thanks for the alert AMBER users who took the time to explain
about this new worm or virus.
