Dear Robert,

Have you tried setting up LD_LIBRARY_PATH and include dirs using an
environment variable prior the cmake command?
I suspect not all routines make uses of the cmake defines (so using both
methods may help).

When you have a mixed environment like this, it can be complicated,
there are explicit path search (/etc/ls.so.conf and subdirs)
and implicit ones (deduced from CMAKE variables also).

On our supercomputer, the "find" command was missing for instance (which
led to the behaviour your observe).

HTH,

Stéphane
