This is unrelated to Catalina (or OSX, probably). We pushed a change to
how the ambermd.org address is handled. This works fine in a browser,
but is failing in the update_amber script.
Will try to get a fix out as soon as we can. But at least for me, the
update_amber script spews a python traceback, but then continues as if
it found no new updates, which is probably fine for most people.
