Trying on a CPU is indeed a good step in debugging. But saying "seemed
not to work" gives no information that would allow people on the list to
help you. Be sure to look for clues in the mdout file; run a short
simulation setting ntpr=1, since that can often help.
If you cannot figure it out, you can post again to the list, but please
provide details of what you have tried, and what the results actually
were.
