Hi Rahman,
Your vendor is lying to you, most likely because the profit margins are so much higher on Tesla cards. The Geforce cards are less reliable than Tesla but at 10 times less cost (with better performance to boot) the benefit of the increased reliability is marginal unless you are building a massive supercomputer with thousands of cards. As long as you get a system with reference (founders edition) design cards in them that has been tested before shipping to weed out any cards that are flaky or giving incorrect answers you will be fine with GeForce.
