This is not the recommended path. As we point out on the web site, what we
recommend is that you run "./configure --upgrade" in your $AMBERHOME
directory.

But I fear you are blindly making changes here. Did you run the antechamber
tests with AmberTools16? Did you re-run the NIT case to make sure that you
could reproduce your own error? To be successful, you will certainly need to
learn to debug problems on your own.
