I think we are all confused about whether you mean AmberTools1.5 (as you
said in the subject of your email, and which is very old) or AmberTools15
(the latest version).

Are you sure your compilers are correctly installed? What is the result of
typing these:
which gcc
gcc --version
You seem to be using the clang compiler, but I don't think(?) that should
happen if you have gcc/gfortran version 4.9 installed (say from MacPorts).
