Dear Ross,

I pretty appreciate your great help! The thing is, I just tried to copy the script to my home directory, and it works! The converting command just finished! Thank you again for your advices!

Sincerely yours,
Yuan

Hi Yuan,

Chances are you are not the owner of that file. Can you try running the
command as root?

Alternatively you can copy the file to your home directory where it will
be owned by you, chmod +x it there and then use that version of the script.

All the best
Ross
