Hi all,

I was wondering what advantages a polarizable forcefield offers over a fixed charge forcefield. I have been using AMBER99SB for modeling but I have been considering switching over to a polarizable forcefield if these do a better job at modeling protein surface interactions. The specific protein I am looking at has a high density of polar side chains along the surface so I was wondering if switching forcefields would give me additional accuracy.

Thank you,
Nikolay Rodionov
