Here are the results for:
1. What version of AmberTools do you have?

2. What is the results of typing 'which nab'?
/share/apps/amber11/AmberTools/src/nab/nab
3. Do the nab test cases pass in AmberTools?
I didn't install AmberTools myself, but as far as I have been told all tests were passed.
4. Try the following:
cd $SHIFTSHOME/src
nab -v -c shifts.nab
and report the messages.
nab: shifts.nab: no such file (arg # 3)
