I don't understand your question. If you don't understand what environment
variables are, and how to set them, see if you can find a friend who is
familiar with this.

I don't think it's easy to expand on these directions via email. You need to
find out what shell you are using, then follow the instructions for your
shell. Again, if you can find someone who knows to just show you how to do
it, I bet things will suddenly become clear.
