[AMBER] NOTICE: File size limits on AMBER reflector

Dear All,

Recently a number of people have tried to send some very large (text) file
attachments to the AMBER reflector. Please note that the current message
size limit is 1024KB in order to prevent people needlessly having to receive
multiple megabyte files.

Most of the files people are sending are pdb, log and prmtop files. Please
note that these are ASCII text files and can be compressed at over 10:1 by
gzip. Thus if you have large attachments please gzip them before sending.

I would recommend avoiding rar and zip files since a large number of 'over
zealous' sysadmins bounce mail containing these attachments since they
somehow think it will reduce the spread of viruses.

All the best
Ross
