We're attempting a serial Amber8 compilation on a single CPU G4 system with xlf90 (version 8.1) and the patched configure script (as described at
http://amber.scripps.edu/macos.html). This is being undertaken within csh, rather than OSX's default tcsh. The config.h file was successfully created, and environment variables for Amber8 and the compiler have been set using a .cshrc file in the home directory.
The following error messages are generated, and we're just looking for a little help in interpreting the errors (Thanks very much!):
