Hi,
the problem is that gcc is told to look for the needed libraries via
'-L /usr/X11R6/lib', which points to their 32 bit versions.
You can either replace /usr/X11R6/lib by /usr/X11R6/lib64 or
compile all leap-related programs in 32 bit mode, which might be safer
in amber8 anyway (?) .
The latter will only work when all the needed 32 bit libraries are
installed on your system (probably they are).
good luck
Andreas
