Have you applied any bugfixes?

IIRC, #13 fixes this. I actually recommend obtaining the complete set of
bug fixes http://amber.ch.ic.ac.uk/bugfixes/8.0/bugfix.all and applying
them all, rebuilding and then retrying the testcases. Ensure that you do
a "make clean" after applying the patches and before rebuilding.
