I have not tested this personally, but it will almost certainly work.
In fact, if you install mpi, such as lam (
http://www.lam-mpi.org/), you
will be able to run calculations on all "four" processors at once.

Yes. The processor will behave as a p4 in that all p4 extensions should work.
