Claire:
If you use linux, check "top" to see wether you have enough memory (physical
+ swap). If not enough, try add swap or physcial memory. Add swap would lead
the prog too slow. If you can have money to add physcial memory (total
>2GB), then you may try bigmem kernel of linux.
