....The last time I tried, most of the AMBER programs could be compiled
with gfortran, but did not run properly. You could obtain the intel
fortran compiler (64 bit version), which is not free, but available at no
cost if you can live without support (and qualify for the non-commercial
license - read the appropriate docs).
