I have not come across this problem before. Can you send me some more
information. The machine you used, compiler versions and the xleap build
messages.

Try this:

cd $AMBERHOME/src/
make clean
cd leap
xmkmf
make World
make install.leap

Please send me all the output from the last 3 commands.
