Is _is_ going to be hard to get Amber7 to compile LEaP on a solaris machine
that doesn't have a native C compiler. LEaP uses imake (and xmkmf) to
construct the Makefiles, and Sun's imake configure files assume that a
compiler is available.
Try aliasing "cc" to "gcc": that might be enough to get everything to go.
