OK. Got it running. Needed the code change below and to compile with -DHIP_WARP64=OFF. Is there someplace I can contribute a patch to get this change into the next release?

Is there a specific driver or kernel requirement? Other gpu workloads run fine on this machine like hip and opencl examples as well as benchmarking programs like clpeak.
