be held at SDSC (San Diego Supercomputing Center), which is located on

Workshop will consist of a series of lectures and hands-on exercises
designed to teach computational scientists best practices in carrying
out accurate, efficient and reliable free energy studies using Amber.

*TARGET AUDIENCE:*
Graduate students, postdocs and young faculty who have limited
experience in free energy methods and/or their use in the Amber software
and would benefit from an introductory workshop that also covers
advanced topics and the latest features in the Amber software, including
GPU acceleration.

*REGISTRATION COSTS:*
Academic, Student, Government and Non-Profit Organizations: $350
Industry: $600
Registration fees are due only after an application is accepted.
Registration includes a reception, conference dinner, as well as coffee,
snacks and light refreshments during breaks.
*TRAVEL and ACCOMMODATION:*
Participants are expected to pay for their own travel and accommodation.
On-campus housing is being arranged to keep participation costs as low
as possible. Limited support for on-campus housing and/or domestic
flights may be provided depending on the availability of funds. See
