Dear AMBER
I am trying to use the force field for LYS- Trimethylated residue from
http://amber.manchester.ac.uk
I am having an issue - after loading the prep file then moving to frcmod
the xleap crashes saying an error as below.

!FATAL ERROR----------------------------------------

!FATAL: In file [varArray.c], line 106

!FATAL: Message: PVarArrayIndex: VARARRAY is NULL!

!ABORTING.

Any insights are much appreciated.

I followed the below one from the force field site.
