Hello everyone,

It is my great pleasure to announce an exciting new capability coming to
Amber 22 that leverages the revolutionary advances made available through
Alpha-Fold. By leveraging the unparalleled speed of the Amber GPU MD engine
by integrating Alpha-Fold as a neural network biasing potential, Amber
users will be able to capture folding dynamics in unprecedented detail and
accuracy of any amino acid sequence -- even those that don't exhibit
folding behavior experimentally!

But that's not all. This integration, Fast AF MD, will allow the user to
"science" at an unprecedented rate. To ensure practitioners are able to
focus on the science and supercharge both the quality and speed of folding,
we are also excited to announce our partnership with FoldiMate (
https://foldimate.com/). As the FoldiMate rolls out to countless homes
around the world to help the exploding work-from-home population finish
household chores during working hours, to focus on the science, the spare
compute capabilities of these devices will work together to form the
world's largest folding supercomputer. By exploiting transfer learning the
FoldiMate will get even better at folding proteins the more laundry it
folds, and vice versa! This innovative and strategic partnership, which we
are calling "Folding at Work-From-Home," promises to make Amber the premier
software for in-silico protein folding studies and FoldiMate the premier
laundry folding assistant.

Within 5 years, it should not only be possible to fold the world's largest
protein on this platform, but also a fitted sheet. I hope you are as
excited as we are!

Brought to you by,
Tom Watson and Jason Swails
