Dear Amber Users,
- Do you know if it is possible to use a PCI-E riser card with "1x lane
speed" in GPU accelerated Amber MD/TI simulations?
e.g.:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/USB-3-0-Pcie-PCI-E-Express-1x-To-16x-Extender-Riser-Card-Adapter-Power-BTC-Cable/391967356615?_trkparms=aid%3D555018%26algo%3DPL.SIM%26ao%3D2%26asc%3D50544%26meid%3Dd2d377f6ecb14912a56c849ad915a99e%26pid%3D100011%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D12%26sd
%3D302261295960%26itm%3D391967356615&_trksid=p2047675.c100011.m1850
(We are not interested in combining more GPUs to one MD task... but a riser
would provide flexible spacing to avoid overheating GPUs)
Best,
Adam
