Also as far as I know amber14 doesn't have proper support for pascal cards. You might want to upgrade to amber16.

I believe the pascal cards (GTX 10X0, P100, etc) require cuda 8.0

Subject: [AMBER] cudaMemcpyToSymbol Error

   Dear amber users,
I got an Error when running pmemd.cuda in amber14
“cudaMemcpyToSymbol: SetSim copy to cSim failed invalid device symbol”.
         I use GTX1080 and cuda6.5, Nvidia-linux-x86_64-367.27 driver. Does
anybody know how to solve the problem?
   Sincerely yours,
   Cuiyl
