OK...I'm stumped. The only think I can think of is that something has
become corrupted in the netcdf directory. (Did you ever compile with a
different compiler, or something like that?)
Try downloading AmberTools15 (preferably into a fresh location), and see
if the problem persists. You would do well to upgrade to AmberTools15 in any
event.
