Also, do I have the correct .tar file fir AmberTools?
No: go to http://ambermd.org/#AmberTools and click on "Download AmberTools15".
That will give you AmberTools15.tar.bz2. Untar both that and Amber14.tar.bz2:
they both go into a directory tree rooted at "amber14".
