AmberTools 13 is made available on the amber website for people that still
want to use the paid version of Amber 12. In all other instances, we
recommend users upgrade to the latest version of AmberTools 15.
What do you need AmberTools 12 for that AmberTools 15 doesn't work? In
most cases, any input from any version of AmberTools should work with any
newer version without modification, and give the same results. This
occasionally is not true, either because of bug fixes or other changes
deemed important enough to break backwards compatibility (quite rare). As
with any software, there is always a chance that we missed some regression,
so if you tell us what broke, we can try to fix it.
