Hi Sergey,
In addition to Jason's comments, I would recommend anyone who is interested
in trying SPAM to use the more mature code Jason sent out (SPAM.py and the
cpptraj patch). Hopefully, this will become fully implemented in the next
AT release.
Regarding other water models, they are completely allowed by the method. It
is just that the bulk values for these models need to be computed.
SPAM has been developed and tested for biological molecules. For water
around ions, the SPAM entropy may not make sense or have large errors in
them.
