Ok,
I reran the test with the latest driver and old version of amber as it
seems you have to recompile. The results have improved a lot, but
reproducibility is still not across the board.
Recompiling overnight from scratch. Will do default cuda precision mode and
also DPDP. Will test again tomorrow.
Like Mareck, i think my PSU is pretty good. Though it is more a conviction
than anything else.
My setup is as follows:
Mobo: GA-X58-UD7
Processor : i7-930
PSU: BeQuiet Dark Power Pro 10 1200W - (gold standard FWIW)
memory: OCZ 6Gb (3x2GB) DDR3 1333MHz Memory CL7(7-7-7-20)
SSD - primary HDD with centos 6.4
GPUs : 2 x EVGA GTX TITAN Superclocked 6GB
Cooling: Enough that when under load top card runs at ~85 degrees, whilst
bottom runs at ~80 degrees.
